I’m a positive, fun loving and sociable person. I love the company of my friends, who tell me I’m a good listener and a wise old girl.
I don’t have children of my own but have stepsons, who keep a distant eye on me since their dad died a few years back. I think they’re secretly relieved I’ve continued to be a happy, independent and resourceful lady.
Sometimes I try to puzzle out how I got to this age so quickly! In my head I’m in my early twenties, still full of optimism about the future and excited by new opportunities unfolding. Perhaps you feel like this too.
I lead a busy, varied life. I love to explore new places and try out new experiences. Being active and staying healthy are important to me.
I embrace the rhythms of nature, spending as much time as I can outdoors, pottering in the garden and going on hikes when the days are longer. Then wintering with log burners, candles, books, films, music.
Perhaps you, too, are an early bird rather than a night owl, crave coastal, mountainous and woodland landscapes…. love good sunrises and sunsets.
I bought a VW Campervavan a couple of years ago and have discovered a great joy in a simple life and going back to basics. Having said that, I do enjoy a little luxury and pampering, nice restaurants, theatre trips and concerts.
Retired from corporate life and a career in Marketing, I’m now self employed and work part time in the well-being sector.
