I am outgoing and sociable. Love to make new friends but missing a special plus one. Consider myself as open, down-to-earth, honest and caring. Realistic and romantic. Fairly independent and respect other people’s family, friends and need for space as they would mine. Inquisitive about all aspects of life and definitely a busy mind in many places. Also love to learn and to listen to other people’s views and experiences. To enjoy good conversation about anything and everything.
Two grown up daughter’s flown the nest so more me time. I am slim but shapely and mostly eat healthily except for a weakness for chocolate and all varieties of cheese. Happiest in casuals but I enjoy dressing for an occasion whether that be a smart restaurant or a fancy dress party.
Passionate about art, history and architecture but also love live music and watching a game of rugby. Frequent visitor to art exhibitions, museums and country houses. I also volunteer for the National Trust as a house guide. There is a good live music scene around here. Would love to share it though joining me on the dance floor is optional.
My main exercise is walking either with or without my hound. Enjoy swimming, tai chi and dance exercise classes and am willing to spectate at sports I am hopeless at of which there are many.
I love spontaneity and just seizing the day. Enjoy humour in all its forms from satire to risqué. I will laugh at your jokes and expect you to appreciate mine. Don’t believe in endless texting but I do believe in that smile and connection that can be made at a first meeting. Hoping to find a soulmate to enjoy outings, the everyday and generally have fun.

Looking for someone who has quality free time and plenty of energy. I really value honesty, modesty and openness in others. Someone who is kind, caring and happy with who they are. Also someone not afraid to show their feelings. Who wants to celebrate life, exploring new places, trying new activities or just chilling out together. Not looking for a Greek God, fitness fanatic or a DIY expert. If you open the door for me I certainly won’t object but I like to be equal on much else.
Like most people here I want to travel more again. Looking for a special travel mate who will enjoy to plan trips together. We could visit European cities, venture further afield out East or just explore more beautiful places in the UK.
