About her
I am young at heart with a positive attitude towards life, always looking on the bright side and enjoying the moment. I am kind, affectionate and adventurous with a curious mind and a good sense of fun. Integrity and mutual respect is important for me.
I love a country lifestyle but I’m open minded and adaptable for it is the companionship, chemistry and shared humour that is central. I keep fit by walking, swimming, cycling and riding. I now prefer to travel the world with an element of comfort (being mindful of the footprint) but I’m definitely not a cruise girl (tried it and I felt like a caged bird, with too many people and too much food!). I have explored and volunteered the world with a rucksack for years and with the right partner would willingly do so again, wherever the whim would take us. I’m active, fit and keen for new adventures both home and abroad and I’m here to find a like minded gentleman who is curious, kind and with a good sense of humour - where are you?!
I have a passion for the natural world and wildlife and love the ocean, mountains, woodlands and deserts.
I love the Arts and exploring cities, galleries, and concerts, especially classical and opera.
I’m down to earth and very happy in jeans and wellies but on the flip side I enjoy social events where style and elegance are de rigueur.
I’m not keen on superficial gossip but rather enjoy a healthy discussion on topical issues.
I dislike football (but like rugby) and an obsession with live music or any obsession to be honest!
Friends and family are very important to me whilst a healthy romantic relationship with mutual respect, shared values and some interests is sheer joy.
I am serious when called for but laughter and a big smile keep me young at heart.
The kitchen is not mine . . I was cooking for a large party of friends in a very small kitchen with no oven!
