I’m a very positive person,always see the possibilities for resolving a problem and don’t believe in playing the blame game. I’m also kind, considerate,well- mannered and helpful, as well as being loyal and hard- working. People tell me they like my humour, which is a bit mischievous, but never cruel.
Many of my friends share my passion for choral singing, theatre- going and gardening,so I'm very fortunate to be able to enjoy these hobbies with other pleasant people. I belong to the local U3A History group, and do voluntary work.My life is busy, but lacks the joy of having a special companion. Maybe this will be the time when that will change?

My ideal match would need to share some of my beliefs, to be intelligent, educated, not take himself too seriously, and be kind to humans and animals alike. This is important to me.He would need to be accepting of me as I am, as I would be of him, without judgement, but smoking,or excess drinking, would be no-nos. It would be wonderful if he were a singer who enjoys theatre,art and gardening .If he liked cruise holidays, that would be a bonus as it is something I greatly enjoy, and would very much like someone to share trips with again. If he were a car driver, that would be helpful, so I wouldn’t have to do all the driving .Although I love walking in the countryside where I live, he would have to understand that I can’t walk for miles any more,as have a damaged knee. I would find it difficult to be with someone who didn’t like the countryside, or the sea,or animals, so hopefully there is a gentle soul out there who will be happy with my gentle soul, to enjoy what we can,while we can….
