I am a half full person. I want to make every day count and be positive in all I do. I am old enough to be worldly wise and young enough to learn something new every day.
I dislike snobbery, deceitfulness and back-stabbing but I do like honesty, caring and affection, particularly if the latter is shown to me frequently.
Playing my piano, watching TV, reading, gardening and a bit of travelling are interests of mine. I once enjoyed cooking but not any more. If you can cook and have all the other attributes I've mentioned then I would consider you perfect. However, perfection is not attainable so I will just wait and see.

To be taller than me is a must. Sorry all you shorties under 5.9 feet although appearance is not important to me. It is what is inside a man so I am looking for honesty, affection, laughter, caring and helping in my man. As we would be a couple of "oldies" but not past enjoying ourselves I would like to go out driving or walking but not too far for the latter. Go on holiday or days out. Find a good film, concert or play to watch and go out for lunch or dinner or just potter in the garden or sit and watch TV. I am not at all keen on facial hair. That would be a deal breaker.
