Firstly,. I admit I am on this site because I am sick of solo life and hope to find a compatible companion who is comfortable with a man who knows his own mind, goes his own way and does not wish to control others or be controlled.
My friends say I am kind but don't suffer foolishness gladly.
I like touring in my 2 berth caravan in the UK although I have travelled the world both in my years with the Royal Navy and on holidays with my late wife.
I love gardening, fell walking, Wood turning on my lathe, painting and sketching (member of KAS) singing in a male voice choir and volunteering for a local homeless charity.
Over the 75 years I have been on this wonderful planet I have learned to accept things and situations I cannot change and if necessary change the things I want to change.
