About him
I've been described as a critical friend by some. I'm considered reliable, helpful, fairly down to earth, sensible, and passionate about the people and things that I care about.
I enjoy my swimming, gardening, walks, reading the paper, a modicum of DIY, my music choices, supermarket shopping (strangely - but I'm not yet ready for the delivery option), holidays/travel (at the moment it's mainly cruises), meeting interesting people.
If I have any dislikes then they're in the form of opinions that reflect on the many and various social, political, and international issues that prevaill at any one time.
I like to dance to my music. Northern Soul, Tamla Mowtown, House Mix, Summer dance Hits, Upbeat mix etc. on Spotify. Watching TV (no soaps). I find gardening both demanding, and relaxing at the same time. Holidays and foriegn travel can be challenging, but at the same time relaxing and rewarding. Oh, and did I mention siestas?
My outlook is to make the most of and enjoy what time that I have left. To do my best to retain my good health, that will enable me to hopefully enjoy a good quality of life and continue to do the things that I enjoy doing, and perhaps meet someone who could share many of those activities, and even introduce me to some of their own.

Someone who enjoys the simple pleasures in life. Ideally they would be fit and healthy, relatively slim, have a realistic view of the changing world around us, appreciate having a comfortable home life, and have the imagination and energy to enjoy holidays together wherever our thoughts might take us.
