About her
I’m an older single parent, so I’m a little different from most other women my age. I wouldn’t change a single thing about my situation, though. I’m kind and loving, and I like to laugh, but I don’t suffer fools gladly. I don’t take myself too seriously. I’m a bit of a homebody nowadays for logistical/parenting reasons, but I’m lucky enough to have travelled quite widely before becoming a parent. I’m open-minded, and endlessly curious about most things - and I have the knack of finding joy in the small things. I can usually find the positives in most situations, and focus on those. My life is busy, and mostly revolves around my child and my work nowadays, but I find myself sometimes missing the companionship and friendship of another adult in my life, even if only to chat to about how our days have been. I live rurally and have two dogs, a very elderly cat and hens. Oh, and I have some tattoos (just in case that’s a deal-breaker for anyone - I know that they are very much a matter of personal choice).

It’s hard to say, isn’t it? Who knows where the spark comes from when you meet someone, it’s hard to pin it down on the page. I do know that looks aren’t important to me - and that in general, I like people who can laugh at themselves and who don’t take themselves too seriously. Someone who is financially solvent (as I am) and a non-smoker, not a big drinker, and who may also be looking for the chance to be friends/companions (or more) with another (mostly) intelligent adult :)
