About him
I`m 75 and have enjoyed a career as a solicitor and a reasonably active sporting life on the social side. I`ve travelled a bit. I like rural English life - the pub, cricket and rugby, and music. I`m a widower since early last year, and I find life without a companion incomplete. I have a lovely Yorkshire Terrier and live in pretty rural surroundings, near Canterbury. I play bowls. There are still things I want to achieve, and with the right person, there is still fun to be had. I`m honest, sincere and dependable. I know my own mind, but am prepared to try new things. I`m conservative with a small "c" and have traditional values. I am hoping to meet a lovely lady in the Canterbury area - say within a 20 miles radius. Someone even tempered, and sensible by nature, probably well-educated and home loving, but who also enjoys occasional travel. Someone who is at ease with all-comers, and a lover of animals and rural life. Being particularly active is not essential, as my walking has suffered from too much sport over the years, so hiking and dancing is not part of my life. Music though, is a constant feature, and I play guitar, piano, and ukulele. Someone who also plays an instrument would be a bonus. I would like to exchange messages as a way of discovering more.
