I have a great deal of life experience and hopefully will bring heartfelt wisdom, intelligence, common sense, companionship
and sensitivity to a relationship. I am Interested in all things to do with the arts, culture (including world cultures), current affairs, the natural world, animals. I have studied English Literature in the past, so have a love of poetry and memorable writing, Also studied European history (17th century on) and have produced some writing on it. I enjoy visits to historical places/sites - though not much fun as a lone woman. Tend to the left politically. I am interested in diet and nutrition of the healthy kind, especially as I get older. Alcohol is not really part of my lifestyle. I have some right-hip arthritis which I manage with exercise. Doesn't stop me driving and being independent. Otherwise I am healthy, and not on any medications. Oh, and I appreciate a sense of humour and a 'spiritual-but-not-necessarily-religiou s' approach to life.

Someone who is realistic and philosophical about getting older, but still interested in life and all its possibilities. Also genuine and kind, with similar values. Otherwise, I have no 'tick-boxes', except a sense of connection that can't be quantified with a tick-box.
