About her
I've had a wonderful life, full of adventure - and fun. I've travelled the world, got a private pilot's licence and a 'pool bronze lifeguard certificate, crewed on the tall ship Lord Nelson, driven round the Castle Combe racing circuit - oh and abseiled down the cliffs at Brean Down, once only.
I worked as a secretary before marrying and becoming a police wife who became a writer and author, under three different pseudonyms. I'm still writing now - my latest, published in hardback in October 2024 will go into paperback in January 2025, and I'm busy with the next. I'm widowed, but I have two daughters and four grandchildren (all grown up now) and I'm a glass-half-full kind of person.

This is a difficult one. A sense of humour. Honesty. I don't like lying, in any shape or form - I much prefer plain speaking. I don't like boasters, either.
It would be nice to meet someone who shares my interests. I've always been involved with the theatre, from drama, musicals and pantomime to performing with 'Who-dunnit' entertainment groups. Eating out. Days out. I used to do a lot of walking but that's now become restricted because of an annoying balance problem. Swimming - something I can still enjoy.
A big no-no to drug takers, heavy drinkers and criminals!
