Hi there, I find myself in the land of the unknown, ( aka the future! ) with all you good people. Here's hoping good connections for us all.
A little bit about myself. Born and raised in London and have lived in a number of places in the UK.
I always like to have a project on the go, no matter how big or small. Currently thinking about trying to create a peaceful and private area in the garden. Maybe that's for the Spring/Summer though! Not afraid of DIY and decorating, I had a go at doing some tiling a while ago, guess what! they are all still on the wall!
Love to learn new things. Always open to learning new skills, hobbies and interests.
I enjoy writing, and I am an avid reader, always have a book on the go. Interested in psychology, science and anything to do with the human condition.
Love art in all its forms, anything that makes you feel something is art, be it a beautiful vase, a painting or a poem. I enjoy photography which I have had a dabble with, am a complete novice and I have the film to prove it.
Love music and have a wide ranging taste from Nat King Cole to The Who, Glen Miller to classical and everything in between.
Enjoy walking, especially with great company and conversation. Equally, I enjoy the peace nature can bring. Sometimes its the everyday things in life that are the most enjoyable and the most meaningful.
Also enjoy cooking and baking.
I am an open and honest person, respect, compassion and understanding are close to my heart. I really do not like rudeness or the air of a sense of entitlement. I have been a widow for nearly four years now and it would be good to meet a likeminded person to enjoy what life has to offer, together.
