I look at life from the ‘glass half full’ perspective generally. I enjoy close friendships and family time, love travelling. Happy to travel on my own but know it would be more fun with someone special. Enjoy trips to theatre, music venues, love eating out but also enjoy home cooking. Reading is my guilty pleasure and a real perk of being retired , to settle down with a good book for a couple of hours without feeling I should be doing something else!

This is a hard one! I think a really important quality for me in a man is kindness and good emotional intelligence, someone who communicates well. Shared interests would be good but so too new activities to be introduced to although I’m not into bungee jumping or sky diving!
