About him
Beginning to realise this journey divides into two camps. Those with a dog an ocean going yatch and a penchant for skying, abseiling and motorcycles. The other team are gardening for England, going on cultural tours of the world and everyone is keeping a photo record of every meal they ever eaten. Well that’s probably closed down most discussions ! I’m a bit of a romantic, kind caring thoughtful affectionate tactile and appreciate all those traits in others, but I guess everyone would say that. I do have a rather irreverent sense of humour, an early school report said I couldn’t be taught anything as I never stopped laughing. I love the sea but keep it for surfing and dreaming, gave up motorcycles to save emergency services going bust and abseiling is a bit like climbing trees, the coming down part that is and my older sister isn’t as agile as she was to come up and rescue me anymore. Slowly making my way back to North Cornwall to finally retire. Hoping to meet someone who has the same feelings I have for the far West Country. I’m far from a couch tattie, have learnt to keep my impulsive nature in check when wandering around junk, book, salvage, auction retro anything shops. Bought my first bottle of Margaux recently. Cor that was nice. Addicted to world politics, radio 4 and Spotify. Lifetime reading autobiographies but now revelling in American crime thrillers. Wear Levi’s mostly, lost my morning suit years ago still got a dj if I can remember which child borrowed it last. Spend my days building and refurbishing my last, final swan song building project an old mill. I could go on but you’re probably just being polite. X
