Friends would probably say I’m good company with a great sense of humour, that I’m equally as happy having a serious conversation as I am engaging in banter.
Originally a PE teacher, I have always loved sport and still play tennis and golf each week.
Family is of paramount importance and I love spending time with my grandchildren.
Over the years I’ve been fortunate to have travelled widely, and I still have places at home and abroad on my bucket list.
I also enjoy cooking, reading, listening to all kinds of music and like to be introduced to other people’s hobbies.
I try to be a good listener and, despite despairing of politicians of all persuasions, I have a pretty positive outlook.

The lady I’m looking for should be active and light hearted.
She must not feel, act or look her age, and enjoy humour.
Empathy, a lovely smile, independence, versatility and a willingness to share are all things I value.
