About her
I am a sociable person, with a good sense of humour. I live life to the full, meeting up with friends for walks, trips to the theatre or going out for a meal or drink.
I enjoy open water swimming (only in warm climates!), running, walking and keeping fit. I love dogs and horses but sadly currently don’t own either. I’ve enjoy playing pickleball and Padel having previously played badminton and tennis. I recently learnt to sail. I really enjoy being physically fit.
I’ve just finished renovating my dream home which has a great party kitchen. I’m finishing planting the garden ready to enjoy this summer.
I love entertaining friends and family. I can cook, love gardening , and occasionally paint. What I lack in skill I make up for in enthusiasm!
I’d love to travel more but far flung, interesting places hold more appeal than a beach holiday. The coast and sea has always held a strong attraction for me. I love farming, animals and the country way of life but am currently really enjoying living in the town centre.
Dating sites are probably not the easiest way to tell if you have any connection or the elusive vital spark that seems to be on everyone’s wish list. Unless you are in marketing, it’s also really hard to sell yourself. As such am happy to meet for coffee or chat if you want to know more about me.
About her ideal match
I’d like to meet someone who is around my age with similar interests and outlook on life. Being honest, kind and true to yourself are really important qualities. Someone who has a good sense of humour and doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
I’m very fit and run about 35 miles a week and go to the gym regularly so ideally would like to meet someone who is active and enjoys keeping fit.
I don’t mind if someone is shorter than I am, as I find height a somewhat irrelevant factor in the general scheme of things.
One of my favourite quotes is “spend your time with someone whose company and conversation you enjoy, as you get older this will become more important “. Someone who has a zest for life and adventure sense of adventure would be a great start.
