I'm someone who enjoys cooking for someone special.
I love the outdoors with the ambition to walk long distance paths. I enjoy music and concerts, cinema, theatre, photography and reading.
My friends would probably say that I don’t take things seriously, that I’m a thoughtful friend, maybe they’d say I’m generous, but they would also say that I’ve a strange sense of humour.
I’m an atheist and politically left leaning.
I want to travel more and share that with someone, there are still places in the UK where I haven’t been.
I'm past retirement age though I still work part time, mainly for the social aspect.
I want to enjoy myself, try new experiences and share life with a special companion.
And I need someone to stop me eating cake!

My ideal companion would share at least some, though not necessarily all of my interests.
Though I don't drink, I'm happy for a companion to enjoy an occassional drink, though I must insist on a non smoker.
A sense of humour is essential, I no longer take life seriously and I'd like someone with a similar outlook.
