I am a keen golfer and it would be a bonus to meet a fellow golfer but this is not essential, I don't watch a lot of TV, I find soaps or reality type programmes are a big turn off I probably enjoy radio particularly radio 4, I have only re-joined for a month and stopped automatic repayments ( always an optimist ).I don't own any pets but I am very much a K9 person.
I don't have a check off list of likes/dislikes of a potential suitor other than being a non smoker, friendly, GSOH, & honest.
I enjoy DIY, I was an engineer in Submarines and served 35 years in the Navy, liver in good condition, no tattoos & still have the majority of my own teeth.
I'm not on here to play the field meeting the right person is my ultimate genuine ambition. I am happy to travel within a reasonable distance & would rather meet up with someone for a chat at a public venue cafe/restaurant than endless messages. At my age, I'm not looking for a bells, buzzers & romantic encounters but hopefully meet that right person to engage in friendship leading to a long fulfilling lasting relationship
