About her
I've recently retired and am doing a part-time Master's course in the history of science, which is stretching and fascinating in equal measure.
I like exploring historic cities and visiting old buildings both in the UK and abroad. I like going to galleries and museums. Music is important (classical is usually on in the background or CDs of Mark Knopfler orJacques Brel) and I go to concerts regularly (mostly classical but like folk-rock too). I sing in a local choir and get a buzz out of performing in unique venues or abroad. I like the quirky things, finding out of the way places, good cafes, interesting shops and discovering and sharing fascinating bits of history. My friends describe me as calm, with a good sense of humour.

About her ideal match
My ideal match would be someone who sees the glass half full and has a good sense of humour. At the same time they would be patient, kind and considerate of others. My preference is that they like to cook, not be glued to their 'phone, be a good conversationalist and keen on music but these are not deal breakers, (although the 'phone one maybe!). I'm now interested in the history of science which I find fascinating too.
