About her
Have had an interesting and happy life. Married for 48 years, with two grown - up children and two grandchildren, one of whom was married this year.
I studied as a mature student and became a teacher in my late thirties and later attained the degree of B.Phil.Ed. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching and found working with young people immensely rewarding. Since my retirement I have done some voluntary work in a local school but my free time is mostly taken up with Membership of two book groups, a poetry group, U3A meetings and playing Bridge.
I love this game which I only took up about six years ago and go on several bridge holidays a year both in this country and abroad.
I have a daughter who lives in Istanbul and a son who has just gone to live in S.Africa so I get plenty of interesting travel opportunities. I also appeared on TV on a game show and had a most fantasic time.
As you can see from what I have written, I have a lively and outgoing personality and friends are kind enough to tell me that I am excellent company.

I am looking for a gentle, personable man with a GSOH , preferably a bridge player. someone who enjoys travel as much as I do and is willing to spend time forming a relationship that would be mutually pleasurable.
It would be nice if he liked dancing.
