About her
I'm a young at heart 68 year old who would love to find a special friend to share the things I enjoy - eating out, theatre, concerts, comedy, days out or in, travelling (need to explore the UK more). He must have a goodsense of humour and like good conversation and a good laugh. I like time to myself and am happy in my own company. I read an awful lot, especially crime fiction, and enjoy crossword puzzles, altho I don't have a huge success rate, and other puzzles. I've retired and keep myself busy with some volunteering, playing crown green bowls in the summer, zumba gold ( thats the one for "more mature" women) meeting friends for coffee and lunch and I'm a member of the local WI and U3A.
Outwardly I appear confident but actually I'm a bit shy and a bit nervous about joining this site! It's a while since I've been in the market, as it were!

Ideally a caring tolerant person, a good conversationalist but also a good listener. Must have a good sense of humour and love to laugh - it's the best medicine.
