My background is art, architecture, design and finally teaching.Having achieved 2 careers in my life I am now retired with time to spend on voluntary work,gardening,walking,the theatre,and more holidays abroad.Having already travelled fairly extensively in Europe I can now luxuriate in my favourite places, including cruising.
I am calm,dependable,intelligent,a home maker and someone who enjoys proper use of the English language.I appreciate conversation with an element of humour but also sincerity.That's the serious side of me.
I also enjoy socialising,dancing,live music, having fun,and continuing to keep up appearances (for that read exercising,clothes shopping and creating my environment).
Time has flown,my independence has increased,and it is now time to admit that it would be good to share the ups and downs of life.

Apparently I can be difficult !! My appearance belies the serious, caring interior.
Therefore someone would need to be firm with me but not overpowering.I expect decisions to be twofold but also spur of the moment much appreciated.I need to be entertained with laughter and am very much a romantic.
