I have lived here in France for the last 8 years, love the peace and quiet. I enjoy cooking, having friends for dinner and lively discussion, I paint and sketch, enjoy live music, reading and walking my dogs. My recipe for friendship ... take two people, a good meal and some wine and let the conversation flow. I like being near water, be it a river, a lake or the sea, walks on the beach or along the waters edge. I enjoy exploring new places, prefer the countryside to big cities like what they have to offer culturally but wouldn't wish to live there. I like films, comedy, romantic and thrillers, can't stand horror - don't see the point of scaring myself silly or hiding behind a pillow for most of the film!
I enjoy visiting vide grenier/brocantes, interested in antiques, buying and selling.
