About him
I am a warm, friendly, kind, thoughtful, loving, open and honest man. Father of two sons in their 20s who live with their mum in London. My main interests are cinema, tv, music, reading, internet, keeping fit and healthy, driving and riding my motorcycle.
I have a very wide taste in music. I enjoy racquet sports (badminton, squash and tennis), and swimming. I was very lucky to get early retirement at 57 and enjoy being a man of leisure. I like walking along sandy beaches, hill walking, and venturing anywhere scenic and peaceful. I also like to watch the daily news and documentaries to see what’s going on around the world.

I don’t have a specific type as such as I think that’s far too restrictive. I am attracted to women who take pride in their appearance regardless of their size and shape. Intelligent conversations, assertiveness and being non-judgemental, honesty, kindness and a cheeky sense of humour are important traits that appeal to me. I would prefer to meet someone who is active and enjoys a healthy lifestyle, and takes an interest in what is going on around the world. I am excited at the possibility of meeting a woman that ticks as many of my “boxes”, and likewise that I tick as many of hers. And hoping of course that that special chemistry is there between us. I would prefer to meet a non smoker and someone who is already retired, or works part time.
