About her
Reaching 'almost ' full retirement has cast a spell on me ! I'm a more relaxed person to be with and always keep an eye on the funny side of life, so laughter's become a more frequent friend .
I grew up in an semi-rural area and still have a strong affinity with natures restorative powers and love a nice walk in the countryside to balance the senses.
I'm the middle child of 3 and have a younger sister (local ) and older brother ( Lake District ) The Lakes have much to offer and enjoy.
Working life has provided me with a rich supply of friends who are dotted around England and Ireland and I keep in touch with them all and have extended visits to enjoy their company to the full and catch up on life's ups and downs.
Life inevitably has landed some unavoidable challenges and I like to think this has provided a degree of inner wealth character wise, along with compassion and understanding. I have both a serious and humorous side to my nature but the latter is more fun and my preference but I do respect the differences.
I enjoy a variety of interests and gardening , history and mother nature continue to hold my attention but there are lots of experiences ,journeys and outings that are much better shared . How nice it would be to roam around Provence for 3 weeks, potter about our own lovely towns and cities exploring or just relax in new settings anywhere in the world and soak up the scenery and culture .
