About him
Hi and thanks taking the time to view my profile which I trust will hold your attention for a few moments. Personality wise, well I’ve lots of good friends who I hope would describe me as honest, trustworthy, dependable, hard working, good company and an all round good egg, God I hope none of them are reading this!
I believe firmly in quality and not quantity so it's the simple things; being outdoors come rain or shine, wildlife & pets, especially dogs, I love dogs (although I couldn't eat a whole one), travel, good food, good conversation, red wine & log fires, you know the sort of thing. I like to think I could hold an intelligent conversation on most subjects with perhaps the exception of celebrity chefs, soaps, golf, daytime TV, Tesco club cards and TV toothpaste adverts.
I spent most of my career in Arts & heritage, lately though I've been involved in a few small start-up businesses plus a short stint as a crash test dummy which I had to give up as I was getting splitting headaches and most recently just finished a temp job as body double for Daniel Craig. Last acting role was as lead male in the SAGA film ‘Fifty shades of beige’.
I'm a hard worker, enjoy a challenge and am not one to sit around waiting for it to happen, I would prefer to make it happen. I'm also quite a creative and practical person and enjoy designing and sculpting. I live near the coast so activity-wise its sailing, dog walking, kayaking, and fly fishing (not all at the same time) and although I am fit and strong my 'six pack' seems to have morphed into a 'Party Seven'. I have traveled extensively and even visited England on a number of occasions however I'm still struggling with the language, culture and currency.

So, who and what am I looking for in a partner? Well I'm pretty open minded about it and have no absolutes just someone who is intelligent, witty, loyal, caring, compassionate, elegant, beautiful, refined, sophisticated, of independent means, has an English country estate plus house in Tuscany (or Provence), a Range Rover or two, possibly a title and hates prenuptial agreements, is that too much to ask?
