About her
Upbeat, independent, sociable lady with a wide circle of friends and family,yet lacking that special companion to get out and about with. It would be wonderful to suddenly decide to take off to Cornwall for a weekend , a trip to London to go to the theatre and visit museums and galleries or even a trip to Cardiff to watch a Welsh/English rugby international. Cymru am Byth! (Yes, I am Welsh)
I have many interests, the main being painting. I paint in most media and most subjects. Lately I seem to be painting a lot of pet portraits in pastels. I exhibit locally and manage to sell a few. The next exhibition I am taking part in is at
RHS Rosemoor, so busy,busy working on the paintings.
I also enjoy gardening. I moved here last year and have enjoyed renovating the garden and setting up a vegetable garden. Not hugely successful this year but the potatoes have been wonderful.
I also enjoy reading, embroidery, knitting and trying to learn to crochet. Not doing very well - old dogs and all that!
I like going to auctions, steam fairs, vintage car rallies, National Trust properties
Cricket matches, the Ballet, art Galleries and Museums. I love the sea in all it's moods and have enjoyed cruising the world. I like all wildlife and particularly love dogs and horses.
I have quite a large family and we regularly meet up for Family Events . They are great fun and full of life though a stranger might find them a bit overpowering at first.
