My friends say that I am pro-active, a woman of substance. I am a good friend and a loyal person.
I do have a sense of humour, but I feel I need to laugh more.
I enjoy good conversation but am lost if the subject is sport. I tend to be a listener rather than a talker. It would be great to share life with someone, that is on the same page as I, and to discover that we do have similar interests, and views. I do love to travel, particularly to warmer climates. I am content with a good book and a warm swimming pool. I enjoy the cinema or theatre and museums. My outlook on life generally is a positive one, however there are moments when I despair on the unjust and cruel actions of others on man or beast. You may have noted in my profile that I do have a disability, in essence, I can't walk too far; but that doesn't stop me.
I want to see and do as much as I can, while I can. Even better with that someone special, watching the sunrise or sunset together.

My ideal traits in a man is of substance a man that I can respect for his good core values. Honesty, integrity and kindness are some of those important traits. I would like a guy that is courteous, a gentleman who has the ability to laugh at himself or everyday events. He would like to travel, and able to converse on many subjects. Together we may be able to tackle life in a wider context with a good heart.
I would like to think that he views the world without prejudice or injustice, to be able to agree to disagree.
Perhaps it's what we can do together that may make all the difference, as we move into another chapter of our lives.
