I am told I look younger than my age, still have brown hair with a touch of grey and fit into size 12. Love to cook, enjoy outings to theatres, concerts, museums, exhibitions, would love to try ballroom dancing again. Love parties and social get-togethers. I have good relations with my family and would be a loving companion to the right man. Although I run my own house and holiday home on the Isle of Wight, I would love to share holidays and outings. I particularly love Italy, Austria, Croatia and Greek islands, etc. I've had some wonderful trips in the UK too and there is still so much more to see. When I'm at home I like to listen to radio 4, watch a really good production on TV, read a good book. I'm a dedicated gardener, sew and attend U3A art and architecture classes and learning to play bridge and try to keep fit. My partner of thirteen years died suddenly seven years ago, but I haven't lost hope of finding another close companion to share the autumn years with me. I can be flexible: meeting up on a regular basis could be a start, time to talk and get to know one another. Weekends together with a special friend would be a lovely addition to my week. My ideal partner would be kind and loving, have a sense of humour, be warm hearted, friendly, honest, reasonably fit and want to have fun. A man who needs companionship as I do and the right chemistry plays a big part too, of course. I would like him to be happy to socialise, but not be too opinionated, fastidious or fanatical about anything. I hope he would have travelled and be happy to continue to have holidays and weekends away, in the UK and further afield. Someone who loves the freedom that retirement brings and wants to make the most of it. I've loved holidaying with my partner in a motorhome in the past and would be very happy to do so again.
