Northern chap , polite and courteous , cheeky sense of humour , rough edges gradually being smoothed but down to earth . Definitely not as pretentious as a couple of my fotos make me appear !!! .
My likes include theatre , opera , cooking ( the usual man type comfort food but with a few signature dishes thrown in )
I’m still wrestling with duvet covers ( could be an Olympic sport in a few years time ! ) ...I enjoy travelling and have been fortunate to visit some great places . I also have a pretty eclectic taste in music from indie , blues to classical and most things in between....can’t beat a little bit of soul every now and then .

....positive personality , caring , tactile , romantic , someone who is happy in heels or walking boots . And I don’t mind a little bit of female assertiveness every now and then ! It may sound like a cliche ...but someone who would really enjoy spending time together through good times and the not so good times ....( I’ve tried to avoid these as best as I can but they do seem to crop up every now and then )
As for deal breakers I would much prefer to meet and get to know someone first before forming a deal breaking view . Although smokers wouldn’t be at the top of my list .
