Likes (in no particular order): Mendelssohn, Austen, brussel sprouts, my clarinets and piano, choral singing, foreign travel, new experiences.
Dislikes: Bananas, grapes, hot curries (I'm a bit of a wimp in this respect), dull weather, being photographed.
I have a comfortable home, friends, varied hobbies, enjoyable voluntary work and, since being widowed, have holidayed alone (albeit in organised groups). I would love to share the enjoyment of concerts, theatre, meals out and home comforts, and to plan holidays and travel with a special 'someone'. I have had adventurous moments in the past - a tandem skydive and abseiling down the Northampton 'lighthouse' for charity.
