About him
‘Love And Happiness,’ as the Rev Al Green once said, make the world go round, and a loving partner is what I’m currently missing. I love spending time with my kids, watching live music with friends and sometimes even playing it myself. I also love travelling and new adventures and I love my work among Liverpool’s hard-to-reach communities trying to put something back, but it would all be so much more meaningful if shared.
I'm happy listening to anything from Planet Rock to Radio 2, with a bit of Radio 4 culture in between. I enjoy a decent binge watch, with Detectorists and Slow Horses particular favourites from recent years. I have my own band, write and co-write our songs, play guitar, bass and uke and love to sing most of all. I also have a keyboard standing in the corner which I need to learn - maybe you can teach me?
I'm not looking for my next wife necessarily, but a partner who values their own independence and who enjoys laughing and discovering new things as much as I do! And if you turn out to be my last soulmate I can think seriously about retiring, or semi-retiring, from full time work and concentrate on building something shiny and new.
I think my friends and colleagues would consider me a kind, caring, friendly and positive presence, very much the eternal optimist. Although a Brummie by birth (bab) I have been called an ‘honorary scouser!’ That was one of the best moments in my recent lifetime!
