I have had a very enjoyable and varied life.
Have travelled a lot and have very few regrets.My social life has always been full and varied with a sports,show biz and charitable bias.I have a good sense of humour and I believe that life should be enjoyed even in bad times.
No strong political views but I lean slightly to the right..
My family and I are very close (not geographically) and care for each other but without being intrusive.My friends both male and the ladies enjoy my company and we attend many social events together. However I miss that closeness of a special friend and companion
I had 5 holidays I 2019 including 10 days in Cape Town and a cruise on the Rhine in October.on in 2020!! Also attended an open air concert in Holland. It would have been nice to have had a companion as well as for social events,theatre,or just a good meal and just a quiet night in front of TV with a good glass of wine.
I am currently planning holidays for this year and it would be great to do this with someone new .I looking on my own at present (sob,sob )
My profile states that I am 86.I look and feel much younger. It is better to be a young 86
rather than an old 70. Most of my friends-both male and female are in the age range 45-70. I am very fit and active and in excellent health.I play golf when I can and take a keen interest in local and national cricket and soccer.Apart from a few injuries I have never been ill-very lucky! I am excellent company and enjoy Theatre,music,sport, dining out,going to the pub,tv and quiet nights in,travel
etc,etc.
I would like to find a like minded ocompanion to share a social life and maybe travel/holidays,maybe more.
I am not looking for a nursemade or a bed warmer-although the latter could be interesting!

Be a good friend and companion who can face life head on and not worry about "if only" or "what will people say", some one who is more concerned with the contents rather than the package. My wife was 12 Years younger than me and we were very happy together for about 40 years. She cannot be replaced but the friendship and companionship and happiness can be. Forget the date of birth and consider the actual product.
