I never realised how difficult it would be to write about 'me'! After spending the past hour attempting to write a winning script I've realised I just need to write it as it is!
I'm a young at heart 62 year old who has a good sense of humour and is passionate about taking care of the people who are important to me.
I am loyal and easy going and am at my happiest around similar people. I have a wonderful family and friends who are all a pleasure to be around but the one thing missing from my life is a soul mate who will make my life complete.
My ideal partner would be someone who was my very best friend.
I would love nothing more than to be able to share life with a happy go lucky character who not only finds pleasure in the simple things in life but is also able to find the positives if things aren't always going to plan.
Whilst looks are not high priority for me it is important that a partner would take pride in himself and how he looks.
I find attractiveness in someone who is capable of turning his hand to most things rather than someone who has no idea how to fix that leaking tap.
A good sense of humour is a must, maybe someone who dances as though no one is watching... even the 'dad dance' is great in my eyes. I would just love to be sharing life with someone who could make me laugh!
With all that said I know it would be unrealistic to expect someone to be bouncing around 24/7.. we all need quieter moments in life, and no one more than me.
In a nutshell I'm just looking for someone who is kind and caring, with a good equal measure of being a fun character be around but also knows when to take life seriously too.
I truly believe that the best foundations for a solid relationship has to be friendship before anything else. I would love to have that one person to share a placid life with. Days out, weekends spent just chilling or exploring and someone to share the excitement of planning and taking holidays with.
