I am a sociable type. Very fit for my years and I am told I have a good (sometimes wicked) sense of humour.
I like BBQs, eating out and travelling, mainly in France.
I am a good skier and lived for years in the French Alps.
I like reading and 'decent' TV.
I also enjoy good wine, the local pubs and restaurants. I am, however, becoming aware that restaurants and hotels are not much fun when alone.
I suppose my outlook on life is slightly cynical but with a sense of proportion and I can see a funny side to most things
About his ideal match
I would like to spend time with someone who likes at least some of the same things as me. If she was attractive and outgoing that would be a bonus.
A decent sense of humour would be a help. Being able to forgive me when I put my foot in my mouth occasionally would be a necessity. I would return the kindness!
There are still a lot of places I want to visit in the UK and mainland Europe so I would hope to find someone who felt similarly. I am not particularly into culture in that I prefer the big picture rather than art galleries and museums.
I am still a decent skier and it would be nice to meet someone who, if not a skier, enjoys the mountains.
I suppose, to be completely honest, I would ideally like to meet someone who has plenty of space. For example, not too tied up with family to find time to travel etc.
