I don't like to waste peoples' time, so firstly, I wear dentures.
I'm also mildly deaf so wear a hearing aid.
Scarily, I also have a penchant for watching Scandi-noir movies. I’ve recently been told that I should seek counselling for this aberration.

If you are still reading, a bit more about myself.
I'm reasonably well-educated and articulate and try to maintain a smart appearance.
I enjoy good conversation, discussion and think that laughter is a very important part of our lives. I find it hard to define my sense of humour, (not so articulate then?) but would say that it tends to the dark side and is as un-PC as possible.
Along with the laughter, I regard mutual trust and honesty to be a must in any relationship.
Living in this beautiful part of North Wales, my main outdoor activity is walking in the country-side and on coastal paths. My walks are now reasonably short and not too hilly. I certainly can't see me doing the Snowdon Horse-shoe again!
I'm quite handy at jobs around the house and try to keep the garden tidy, but I'm no expert gardener.
I'm interested in the physical sciences and like to tinker with electronics and robotics.
I like to browse in antique and second-hand shops and enjoy visiting art galleries.
As far as music goes, I enjoy classical, jazz and earlier pop (50's, 60's), although I now cringe on hearing some of the early pop stuff!
Since coming from Manchester to live here some 19 years ago, I've not been on many holidays apart from trips to Northumberland where my son lives.
The idea of cruise holidays is anathema to me and I have no intention of going abroad again.

Most importantly, I want to be able to trust any future partner. Deception can be extremely hurtful and, in my recent experience, destructive of a relationship.
I am looking for someone for companionship, someone who I can feel relaxed with, who shares some of my interests. For now, let's say that I'm looking for humour, trust and honesty.
