I thoroughly enjoy trying to say the "right" things on this profile , wondering just how seriously you will take it, and treat it in the spirit it is intended, or simply decide 'tis a mixture of fact and fiction !!
The most important thing I am looking for in a person is to be able to see the humour / irony in life, not to take themselves too seriously, a ready smile, optimism, a forgiving nature ( sure with me you'll be in need of it ! ) Looks fade with time - the personality does not.
My three lads -( without realising it they taught me a great deal )- humility coupled with frustration and unconditional love, (I liked them too!), to truly learn from past mistakes - ( sorry Tim blasted terry nappies and massive safety pins - well don't fight me when I'm changing you in the future - after all it's not a fun job ! ), And the little fella i changed him for was not a lot better anyway !!
Finally, just how expensive bringing up kids can be !!!!! I had to frisk them every time they went up the chimney

I was brought up by a strict Irish mother from County Mayo which is about 50 miles north of a small mountain called Craugh Patrick where Saint Patrick spent many days fasting in penance and banishing the snakes from Ireland - then some blighter let them all back in again!!!! I'm joking! please Sean please will you take that pistol away from my right ear !!
Today i enjoy socialising,going out with friends, ( rather than strangers) etc;etc

I like to think I am kind and caring. If Romantic means enjoying the look of pleasure on a ladies face when presented with a surprise bouquet of flowers / or sitting down to a candlelit restaurant meal / or holding hands on a woodland walk then I plead guilty.
Would like to find that lady where the chemistry and spark may not necessarily be instantaneous but begins to fire quite soon. I do not wish to become a serial dater. Commitment comes after little time and I would hope to embark upon the path towards it in the not to distant future.
