About her
I like to think of myself as being a creative, sensitive and strong individual with a positive attitude. Tough times have made me more mature and understanding. My family is important to me. I have a wonderful relationship with my children and their partners.
I live at the foot of the North Downs and am grateful for being surrounded by beautiful countryside, which I explore with my Golden Retriever on a daily basis.
I keep fit by walking, rowing, swimming, cycling and gardening. Other hobbies are: playing chamber music, reading, improving my piano playing and meeting up with friends.
My friends would say that I am down to earth, intelligent, enthusiastic and have a warm personality.
Most of my career as a violin teacher I worked full time, but I have now cut down to only a few hours a week. These days I work purely for the enjoyment to stay in touch with my subject, my colleagues and the younger generation.
I am a Dutch National and have had settled status in the UK since 1987. I speak fluent English and Dutch. Having great memories of my rural upbringing, I can see myself move back to the countryside one day.
