Well I can be a friend and good listener on our walks in the scottish hills and my daughter would describe me as low maintenance ...make of that what you will!!! I particularly enjoy long distance routes where I can learn more about the places I am travelling. I have been widowed for over 7 years and feel that my
relocation to the Stirling area can be the fresh start I have been putting off for so long! I love my dog and fellow dog lovers would be a priority for me ( Err...love me , love my dog ?) . My family and grandchildren are a big part of my life but of course there is that gap, which only a very special kind of man could fill. My hobbies are those I have already mentioned as well as those on my profile , but helping out with my daughters business, grandchildren ( North and South of the border!) generally keep me busy and as a home lover too , spending time doing little renovation jobs in the home can be very therapeutic. I couldn't get into any sort of water sport/ activity too so any lonely sailors are not for me I'm afraid! I don't like pretence and hope this little resume has been an honest one as it's the first foray into these dating sites and its with much trepidation that I am doing it .....blame my lovely daughter !!
