I have a background in dance (Royal Ballet School and Royal Academy of Dancing), and degrees in both dance and psychology. I worked as a teacher for many years, taking early retirement from my final post as Head of the Learning Support Service in the Home Counties. I have lived abroad for many years, but returned permanently to the UK 13 years ago.
I try to get out daily, attend classes at my local gym. I have balance issues and use walking aids.
I read a lot, mostly crime and psychological thrillers. I value quiet time alone at home, but can feel lonely, especially at weekends.
