About him
I have been told that I'm kind, considerate, energetic, calm, positive, fun, easy going, capable with a good sense of humour. I'd love to meet someone similar. ( Pics 01/26 and 08/25)
I enjoy the sophisticated but am equally happy with simple pleasures, country walks or snuggle on the sofa being favourites. Well-travelled but happy to be here. Still thirty in my head and fortunately the body can keep up ( biological age 59 apparently ). Not good at doing nothing, music ever present and up for live performances (especially at the Royal Albert Hall). Practical around the house, love driving and days out and about. Seek any interaction with animals or nature, I miss not having a dog but aim to have one or two as soon as practical.
I work mainly from home now either in Maidenhead or Pembrokeshire. I will watch all Grand Prix, most tennis otherwise little TV. A bit of yoga and reluctant running to keep fit, try to manage 10,000 steps a day. Eat healthily.
I have allowed work to become too important but slowly changing that now, determined to get back into tennis and develop new interests.
I appreciate having London on my doorstep but prefer to live nearer to nature and I'm fortunate enough to live by the river in Maidenhead and the sea in Pembrokeshire.
A few of the things that I appreciate (in no order of preference ):
Coast path walks, walks along the towpath and long walks in the countryside.
Travelling generally, staying off the beaten track, walking bare foot on the beach.
Live music of any sort, Bach has a special place as does Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon and Eva Cassidy.
Socialising with family and friends when I can.
Snuggle on the sofa with a film.
Architecture, clever design.
National Trust properties.
Antique auctions.
Making tea in bed for someone special.
A night in with good company.
Kindness and consideration.
