About her
Oh no not the selfie!! I am easy going, quick to laugh and love good company.
Not a fashionista but I do wellies to ball gown fairly stylishly and am as happy in a theatre or gallery as in the stands at Twickenham. I love new experiences, I have just got back into skiing and have taken up golf (god help me where do they sell the balls that go in a straight line!). Down time is dinner with friends or curling up with a good book. I am very happy with my life but it would be so much nicer to have someone to share it with.
I now only work a few hours a week so am looking forward to more travel as well as exploring our wonderful countryside and cities here and abroad. The Galapagos is top of my list. I think my friends would say I have an impish sense of humour but that at heart I am quite a gentle soul, sensitive and compassionate.
Looking for a co pilot not a passenger really. Someone with whom to plan the next adventure, share the next experience, laugh, discuss, embrace life and love together
About her ideal match
I don't have too many fixed ideas about an ideal match, you just can't create that certain spark that marks one person from another with ticked boxes can you. If you are kind, tolerant and quick to see the funny side of life then that is really all I ask. I like lively and intelligent conversation so I would see that as important. If you like the theatre that would be good as that is something that I just don't do enough of at the moment. I would hope you would generally like having a go at whatever throws itself in your path rather than being too fixed in your interests.
If you liked sport then that would be a bonus as I do like to both play and watch, but I am happy to do those things on my own if you aren't! I do love my rugby (watching not playing!). I think interests have to overlap rather than be an exact match and different pastimes add interest and conversation.
I do want someone who is looking to learn new things and have new experiences but at the end of the day it's being content in the quiet spaces between the exciting times that really makes a relationship I feel. Deal breakers? If you are obsessively tidy I would probably have an irresistible urge to move everything around so you might want to avoid me :)
