This model is slightly older than last year's but all parts are in working order, honed by usage, streamlined by experience and ready to give their best in friendship or love whilst I can still organise myself out of a paper bag.
The driver's manual records many transcontinental/transatlantic road trips with appropriate service checks for orientation purposes. About his ideal match
I'd like to meet someone interested in the world around them: politically, morally, philosophically, socially, intellectually. This would imply that the person would have broad ranging views and also interests, the practical being allied to the idealized. I am fascinated by, and therefore curious about, most things and would expect the same from a companion. Tolerance, patience, kindness, strength of character and honesty are top of my list of must-haves. Psychological astuteness, business acumen, drive and focussed activity, whether physical or mental, are also great pluses.
The usual shopping basket of cultural interests, culinary ability and appreciation are, of course, a given. Physical activity/interest/prowess is part of an interesting life.
As always, the fit cannot be perfect and if it were, it would probably be quite dull. So, diversity in a partnership or friendship with complimentary aspects is my hoped-for dream.
