I believe I am a funny, generous and caring person. I have a wonderful family and some great friends and I love spending time with them. Equally, I don't mind doing stuff on my own, but it would be great to have someone to share things with. I love music of almost all types, both live and recorded. I don't like pop, and for radio it's Radio 4. I love theatre and cinema and I try to go at least once a month. I am studying for a degree with the OU in Eng Lit but it hasn't put me off books. I love travelling and I am gradually ticking off my bucket list. I have a lot of places in the UK I need to see too. I love conversation, and comfortable silences. I do like to be busy, but I am very good at sitting doing nothing, especially with the right person . . .

So difficult to know what my ideal match is. Someone who is still loving life and wanting to explore and discover everything that's out there. Someone who's interested in what's going on in the world and is happy to talk, disagree, agree to disagree and move on to the next thing!
