About her
I'm open minded and reflective. I love being outdoors, love art, music, theatre, gardens, gardening growing vegetables and now having more time to read and explore things that interest me that there was no time for in the past. I originally trained in Graphics but later had a career as a complementary therapist for 23 years and when I retired went back to being an artist working in mosaics and fused glass.
I practicing yoga and love walking, just as well as I have a dog which means it happens every day.
I think I've become more philosophical and tolerant than I once was, but care deeply about the world's 'direction of travel’. Injustice and indifference often seem rife. and superficial headlines focus on the latest human crisis but fail to comprehend the human suffering that lie behind them.
I miss departed friends but am ever grateful for having had them in my life and having a family to whom I am close. I am comfortable in my own company, and every day is a bonus, but it would be great to meet a fellow traveler even a soul mate who shares the same interests - theatre visits, concerts, meeting for coffee, a walk, for laughter and conversation, the mutual sharing and being on the same wavelength with another human being.
