Love dogs particularly, and most pets of a cuddly nature. Being with nature in the countryside and particularly near the sea, in it or on it !!
Being a Channel islander I love the natural rugged cliffs and diverse landscape of my environment and the awesome huge ocean that surrounds our island. .
I have travelled the world twice within my profession and seen wonderful and enlightening sights but my favorite relaxation is to enjoy a long walk on a Sunday in the Winter and returning home to create a delicious meal together and settle down with Sunday papers in front of a log fire! In the Summer watching the glorious selection of amazing sunsets we are fortunate to see here.
I like being with friends, but also would value time alone with my ideal match building our lives and our relationship.
I still want to travel and explore Europe mainly France and Italy and Switzerland and Austria in the Spring . Being so close to France in proximity is hugely advantageous.
As a child we visited much of Europe but mainly for skiing purposes so would like to explore further.
I have 2 adult sons one living in London and one in the island for the time being as will be emigrating next year. .
I like pottering in my very small garden and attempted growing some veggies for the first time this year.
I enjoy Pilates and the gym and walking in my attempt to keep moving and healthy.
I have put French and Spanish down in my profile as languages spoken but only at school student level not fluent.

Music must be important part of his life . I love the singers of yesteryear such as Sinatra / Ella Fitzgerald / Louis Armstrong / Munro / more recently Beatles/ very recently Coldplay/ Elbow/ the soulfulness of Jack Johnson and light classical guitar Martin Taylor .must also like modern day selected pop music!!
Possibly singing and maybe play a musical instrument would be great but not essential.
I have a good ear for music and have learned to play both piano and guitar In my younger years and would like to take them up again. So hopefully someone could teach me again?!
Someone most of all that could enjoy my company, have fun and laugh together and be very good friends together sharing our thoughts and feelings openly , enjoy doing things together, but respecting each other's space too, so building up trust and who knows what next ?
