About her
As age creeps on the desire to share life becomes more important and it would be nice to have someone to care for and to care for me. I can be pragmatic and am still independent to a degree with a need for space at times so would like to meet someone who feels the same way.
After a fall a few years ago I find that mobility can present problems so now I have to accept, and ask for, consideration and understanding in that area. However, I still enjoy finding a bargain and so love antique fairs, boot sales and rummaging in general but also love getting 'lost' wandering in museums and art galleries.
I promised myself that I would travel in retirement but find I'm unable to enjoy this on my own as I need a companion to share sights and experiences with - I prefer to see the local life in a country and definitely not a pool lounger.

There seems to be a profusion of athletic, sporty over 70's appearing on the site and sometimes I wonder if the writer thinks that is what they would wish for rather than the truth. However, stop at this point if you are looking for a similar partner, just not possible. I have a real love of Formula 1 and was privileged to have been slightly involved behind the scenes in a previous life likewise with tennis although the current scene is not as it was in my day.
However, what is very important for me is to find someone who is caring, loyal, friendly and considerate to friends and family as well as a partner - but without any trait of arrogance or selfishness - It is difficult to describe a person at this level as I feel true personality will only become apparent through time.
