I think I'm a decent mix of good humour and thoughtfulness. I'm well read and interested in the things going on around me but I'm also active and enjoy the outdoors. I try and get some fun out of each and every day.
My professional background was in engineering, technology and education. I enjoyed teaching in schools, colleges and university before moving into management roles. I'm now fully retired but still maintain an interest in craftwork and technology.
I walk regularly with a walking group and do as many local trips as possible by cycle. I enjoy cooking, a bit Mediterranean, don't watch TV and as you guessed am politically and ethically on the left. Not 'woke' or really politically engaged but definitely leaning towards Green.
