About him
I Like company and I try and help other people. When we get a new neighbour I usually make a cake and take around to them. Last year we had new neighbour's and they were from the States and they hardly had any furniture, so I loaned them table and chairs and some saucepans until theirs arrived.
I am an active Christian and a member of the local Church, where I am a Bell Ringer and when we can I am in the Church Choir.
I like gardening although not so active as I was. I like going on Holiday and in the past have been to Australia ( I have a step daughter there with her sons.) Malta is another place I have been a number of times to name but two of my travels.
I tend at times to be serious, but like to spend some time watching TV.
It is now over four years since I lost my wife of nearly forty years, but have a stepson who lives with me, together with two Cats.
About his ideal match
I would like to meet someone who is easy going, and hopefully can drive. (I can drive but have Cataracts forming, but not yet bad enough to stop me driving.)
Also someone who is a reasonable cook, so we could share our cooking skills.
It would be nice if they could take part with me, in my Church activities, and help maintain my garden.
