I am caring, interesting, fun to be with. Love life, believe each day at this age especially, is a gift to be appreciated. I don’t like moaners, but I am a good listener if you are in trouble in any way.
I try to have a positive outlook on life, though has been difficult at times during our lockdown, with so many families now with grief.
My hobbies are gardening, feeding garden birds at this time of year, reading, I belong to a book club, and knitting. Not fond of cooking, but can make a jolly good roast. My Christmas cake was excellent last Christmas. I love my family, 2 of my 4 married children live fairly near, other 2 in Australia. I love chatting!!

Someone who is looking for friendship, who is interesting, and caring. Someone who wants to share the ups and downs of life’s journey to date, but looking forward to new beginnings with maybe some common interests. Someone with a sense of humour would be wonderful, living on my own now for 7 years, that is what I really miss. The day to day events and little things that make one smile, or laugh.
Activities? I am not able to walk long distances, but drive, enjoy going to local country areas, garden centres, the coast, and of course coffee, lunch out, cinema, theatre, before Covid, also cosy evenings at home, tv, scrabble, rummicub, just chatting, and eating of course.
